The pop singer's fashion empire raked in $750 million dollars last year, and it's expected to push to a jaw-dropping $1 billion this year as she expands her collection, according to an article in New York Magazine that will hit shelves on Feb. 21.

That was a JOKE. Jessica is smart as an f-ing whip. My ex-girlfriend grew up with her and said she always knew she would be rich because she was so smart and had so many ideas.
Untrue. I read a very detailed interview with her in a fashion industry mag. Simpson personally designs every single item sold under her name. She even embraced her weight gain and designed new products to chunkier chicks (most American women) which sold gazillions. She is a brilliant business mind and manager.

She’s far from smart ,, comprehension is not her strong suit .. I saw some of that reality show where she was just married to that boy toy.. she wasn’t trying to be funny with stupid things coming out of her mouth ,, she’s near moronic...
Don't believe everything you see on "reality" TV. It was an act. My ex- went to HS with Jessica in Richardson, TX, and I have met her twice. She is very smart, and is a hands-on manager of her growing business empire. Not what my wife would buy, but it sure does sell.

Funny how people said the same thing about Gracie Allen, wife of George Burns. In real life, she was smart as a whip. "Reality shows" are often short on "reality."
