On whether the United States should have been giving foreign aid to President Mubarak: Over 30 years of standing by Mubaraks side and he essentially standing with America on a lot of our interests it makes sense that we have a reciprocal relationship but no it is not moral or ethical. We are watching Mubarak and realizing the billions of dollars that have been spent, hes become rich, a lot of the dictatorship has personally benefited. So where do those funds end up? We need to pull back on those countries where the money isn't doing any good."

And left out the half of her words that did not suit your point.
We're done.
You better take more vitamins. Your ‘recall’ sucks.
It was a statement of fact! I saw the interview - we play dirty with a lot of countries, she just stated the fact as a matter of fact, it’s a PDSer around here that say anything that can take and spin as a negative on Palin especially from Time magazine that snips what she was saying, I heard what she said in context on Egypt it was better than Obama, Mitt and others jumping on the bandwagon in support of the people
And as soon as that video and/or story posts you come a running to give your useless tripe...flame away
Is this true, and how do you know? Maybe I missed that.
This is a PDSer thread......let them salivate over themselves with joy.....they know that this is junk but they don’t care
Sarah played the
On the one hand and on the other hand game
Hardly leadership, IMHO
Typo. I should have said:
saved up $70 billion including American contributions for his...
“Blind Loyalty”;
It’s not just for Democrats anymore!..........
I addressed the sense of what she said and nothing I left out supported your view. Perhaps you mean this:
but no it is not moral or ethical
She's right...our dictators are not always moral but we prop them up as a better alternative. She said Mubarak supported many American interests...its doesn't mean he had as much integrity as he could have had.
Read post #83...the MSM plays with bytes all the time.
Much better.
How were we going to stop him and maintain a relationship with him in which he protected our interests?
What she did say was that we need to watch it going forward..."pull back" from similar situations. I take it that she means not necessarily cut off all relationships and funding but oversee and staunch the money going into corruption.
Which sounds like wisdom to me.
If my understanding is correct, completely apart from the content of her answers, this is a blatently dishonest tactic and the "quote" should be retracted immediately.
sorry, I am not gonna hold hands and jump off the cliff here as everyone else seems to be doing. The dude will retire to live a VERY comfortable life somewhere... on MY money.
Has it protected our interests? are you so sure of that?

(And maybe some smart person can make a link too.)
If you're waiting for TIME to retract it you'll be waiting a very long time.
If you're waiting for Pissant, I'm not sure he/she does retractions.
I would not expect pissant to post a retraction for Time’s dishonest quotation. That would be the responsibility of Time.
