I am sick of these studies.

First they tell me eggs are bad for me. Then they say they aren’t so bad for me. Then, it seems, every week they say eggs aren’t as bad as previously thought.

At what point should they just say eggs is the sh*ts?

I’m not a big curry fan. I wouldn’t eat more because of a study.

I am holding out for the BACON is the best thing for you study.

I heard Dennis Praeger say, “Studies either confirm what sensible people already know, or they are false”.

Eggs are probably just about the most complete bioavailable food on the planet.

Think about it.

You crack open an egg and see a bunch of liquid stuff.

But if that egg had been fertilized, and you kept it under a heat lamp, then you crack it open, you might find a whole, complete, intact living and breathing thing.

The egg itself has every single thing in it it needs to make a whole animal!

And as far as the CHOLESTEROL, eggs have alot of lecithin in them which effectively makes the cholesterol totally harmless.

If CHOLESTEROL was such a killer, farms all over would be littered with dead baby chicks!

I’ve been studying it for 12 years now. It does a body good and grows some big babies in the womb and then out.

sensible people already know

The Internet is/can be a great tool and communication device.

I find copious amounts of interesting and worthwhile information.

When I was having strange pains in my leg and looked up the possible explanations, I was forearmed when I went to the doc.

When he said "I don't think you have a blood clot in your leg, but I can schedule an ultrasound in the big town if you want." I wanted.

When they told me that clot was 14"-16" long and their doc would let my doc know and they would let me know on a treatment plan the next day I was mildly surprised when I rolled into the driveway and my wife came running out the door and said "GET BACK IN THE CAR , you have to get these Heparin shots started RIGHT NOW".

So the info I found on this internet thing was valuable.

But in the general day to day thing I rely on the things my people taught me ( and STILL teach me).

They either lived into their 80's and nineties, or are still living into their late seventies and early eighties.

I find it strange that a seemingly large number of people stake their general welfare on the opinions of strangers.

No, I find it frightening.

No, I find it pathetic.

P.S. The Falls Brand sausage links are $1.20 cheaper (in the 2 lb. package) at Sam's Club than they are at Winco...
