"The first of course is that global cooling is bad. It engenders a need for even more fossil fuel consumption and even worse it adversly impacts agricultural production through shorter growing seasons, late killer frosts early in the season and early killer frosts late in the season."

Forget late in the season, for the past few years it's frosts in June and July that are the real killers - you expect frost by the beginning of September. Well, WE do. But it's true, this is the conundrum that caused the Algore crowd to change "global warming" (didn't they CANCEL that a couple of years ago due to global cooling?) to "climate change", which convenient;y covers everything from monsoons and blizzards to traffic jams and male pattern baldness.

Greenies are phobic of change. Change equals any technological innovation our species invents in order to adapt to geological climate change (as opposed to environazi climate change). I've written several papers explaining the difference between "preservationists" - the environazis who want nothing touched even if it's a damaging invasive species - and "conservationists", who believe in careful husbandry of the earths resources - we got knocked down in the 1970s
