Most cops are used to the FACT that 99.99999 percent of the people they pull over for something, WILL LIE TO THEM.

How did you establish as fact?

Two ways.

First, the Global Warming Tactic/Chinese Missile tactic. That is where you can declare your suppositions as fact without question.

Second, the rule that all 'statistics' and 'percentages' are really just made up, and can be any value that suits the author.

Just watch TV or read a news website and you will see tons of examples.

You are both correct for calling me on this. Although I am sure you both know what I meant, I expressed it very badly and untruthfully.

If I may restate it-

When someone is pulled over for something like speeding, they will usually try to get out of it by trying to make some excuse up or claim ignorance. The cops have 'heard it all' and it has been my experience that if you MAN UP to the DEED, and admit you were breaking the 'law', they will usually give you some kind of break.
