My last bike was metric. Oddly enough, so is my Firebird and Chevy Siverado. Got the metric tools to prove it.
What’s your point?

“Id rather be seen riding Helen Thomas.”
That remark probably falls under the category of Elder Abuse.
Geez!

Very nice ,, but I’ll go with a ZX14 Concourse ,, a slightly used one is far cheaper than a FJ13 ...

The Victory tourer is “interesting looking.” Definitely out-of-the-box styling.
It’s over the top for my taste, but to each his (or her) own.
I have a 1960s Harley, and it looks just fine to me. It’s not “retro” because it’s the real deal.

I imagine a slightly used FJ is cheaper as well. Still, this may, or may not be, the last bike I own, so I’ll get new.
The concours looks to be a similar bike in specs and price.

It reminds me of an updated 1980s era Gold Wing.
Don’t much care for it. That having been said, I’ve ridden a Victory Vegas, and they seem to be fine motorcycles. I liked it a lot more than the FXD and Sportster that I’d owned previously.

That is one of the most grotesque bikes I have ever seen.
This is what a motorcycle looks like....I own one (wish mine was as cherry as this)

I’m reserving my opinion. The first time I saw a Honda Pacific Coast, I snickered and had much the same reaction I am having to this bike.
Today, I want a Pacific Coast.
Ask me in 20 years and I’ll probably still say it’s ugly, but who knows?

I want to ride my bike in comfort and style all day and half the night. I want to be able to hear my radio or CD, or CB, or intercom, as well as the world around me.
I want bike maintenance to rob a minimal amount of riding time.
I want to be able to pick it back it up by myself, should that ever be needed. (It's been knocked over twice so far, in parking lots...)
It should stop on a dime, be nimble in the twisties, have the power to dodge trouble, be able to burn tank after tank at near triple digit speeds, and never leak. Ever.
My 1800 Goldwing does all that, better.
