They are the ones that are now in the catbird seat since Google allowed them to steal back the control that Apple had negotiated away from them with the iPhone. You will see more and more of this with Android. Crapplets and other custom user interfaces fragmenting Android is what is happening more and more because they and the manufacturers can do it to differentiate their products.
