This guy had by far the best Nixon voice ever. Rich Little had the visual but was nowhere near the skill. He did EVERYONE in the 60’s and early 70’s.

His LBJ was priceless.

I seem to recall that he put on some rimless glasses. He’d tilt his head down a little so he could look over them. He’d raise his eyebrows and adopt a broad, closed-mouth, folksy grin. He’d beam to the right. He’d beam to the left.

Without saying a word, he was already more LBJ than LBJ.

He was one of the greatest!!! I grew up watching him on tv and he provided me and my Dad with soooo much laughter...they don’t have any decent comedy today.
