Judge Andrew Napolitano is well-meaning, but profoundly naive.

Freedom Watch 1/23/11, Fox News

Watched Judge Napolitano earlier this evening. He ended up speaking about the Peoples Republican of China.

Judge Napolitano started out with a couple pretty open-eyed observations about the PRC. First off, he rattled off the ways in which citizens there have no freedoms.

No right to assembly, without the presence of a party member. No right to dissent. Churches, required to vow loyalty to the CPP before the Vatican. Pretty good list, and powerfully presented. He then described accurately the threat an increasingly powerful China poses to America.

Larger military than America's. More money to spend on it, than we have. Pretty much spot on, all of it.

Judge Napolitano even ventured so far, as to just ever so faintly, mention what we should do about it. He even said the word Tariffs. Once I think.

Then he collapsed.

Utterly. Without logic, naive bumpkin right out of the cabbage patch, clueless. Collapsed.

From that strong start, Judge Napolitano - somehow actually reached the conclusion, the solution to all this is ... wait for it.

MORE CHINESE IMPORTS.

(facepalm)

Not Peoples Republican :)

Napolitano is so typical of the “free trade” bimbos.

Brainwashed beyond logic.

Napolitano actually claimed that buying Chinese goods, will create freedom there.

It’s a bit like claiming had we simply let Nazis take over the world in the 1940s, they would have become peaceful.

Judge Andrew Napolitano should go hang out with his cousin “Butch Napolitano”, and they should both STFU!

Judge Napolitano has got to be a werewolf. Got to be. And he should return to the woods. FOX is OTL on this guy and his show.

I agree. All during the 2008 campaign, he gushed about Obama and would cut off anyone who took issue with it on his radio show. He also railed against waterboarding with all the gusto of an ACLU attorney.

With globalists paying your salary, you can only go so far it seems. Ending the foreign entaglements of trade agreements (the underlying web of globalism) is the right thing to do. Everyone look out for their own interests and mind their own business.

This guy is Fox’s version of Judge Judy- an imbecile. It’s time for Fox to get a real jurist.

The truly naive folks are the ones who want to provoke a New Cold War with China and Russia which the taxpayers cannot afford.
