Notice that the county registration date is four days AFTER the birth.
In other words, it is a batch process.
The hospital sends in the COLB when they have enough at one time, or the county has a delay in processing them.

Hospitals at the time were required to collect their BC’s for a week and then send them all to the HDOH - except the outlying islands, which were to collect their BC’s for a month and then mail all the BC’s they had in their office to the HDOH on the 4th day of the next month.
There aren’t a lot of long-forms that are available to compare, but the pattern seems to be that Kapiolani Hospital sent their BC’s to the HDOH on Fridays. There was an instance where both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve fell on Friday and government offices were closed. Someone’s Kapiolani BC was sent in on THURSDAY before New Year’s Eve even though the birth had been in the week before Christmas - showing that the Friday dump at the HDOH hadn’t happened when it normally would have because the HDOH office was closed that Friday, and it wasn’t going to be open the following Friday either so Kapiolani delivered 2 weeks’ worth on Thursday rather than waiting for the next Friday that the HDOH was open and have 3 weeks’ worth of BC’s piled up.
Obama’s COLB says that he was born in the evening of Aug 4, 1961 - a Friday. There is a letter claiming to be from Obama (delivered to Kapiolani by Abercrombie) saying he was born at Kapiolani. If Obama was born in the evening on a Friday he missed Kapiolani’s BC dump for that week and would have been at the beginning of the pile for the BC’s that Kapiolani Hospital would send to the HDOH the following Friday, on Aug 11th.
The Nordyke twins were born the next day, on Aug 5th, and their BC’s were received at the HDOH on Aug 11th. If Obama was born at Kapiolani, his BC should have been in the pile with the Nordyke twins’ - and should have a “Date filed” of Aug 11, just like theirs. But his has a “date filed” of Aug 8th - a Tuesday.
That “date filed” is an anomaly that proves that the “date filed” was either manufactured out of whole cloth (and thus the COLB manufactured out of whole cloth), or else Obama was not born at Kapiolani Hospital.
And another trouble is that Obama’s BC# is higher (later) than the Nordyke BC’s - even though supposedly received by the HDOH and given a number 3 days before theirs.
There are so many anomalies in all this that it’s absolutely crazy for there to be no investigation of this.
