This is one of several reasons why there won't be a forgery.
In 1961 hospital maternity units ( for obvious reasons) were meticulous about recording the names of the mother and baby. Those ledgers were written using long hand penmanship. Slipping another name into the list of delivers of the day would be hard to do.
Any forgery would need to match up with his hospital ledger entry.
“Any forgery would need to match up with his hospital ledger entry.”
It is not just a ledger entry.
The certificate has to originate from the hospital.
How else would they have the signature of doctor and mother?
Does one think that they go down to the county registrar to sign it?
I think not !!!
The birth certificate is sent to the county only to be registered.
For those who have not seen one, this is a Hawaiian birth certificate...pretty much like mine from Tennessee.
