Elton John and partner David Furnish may have fame, fortune and a loving family, but the 'Rocket Man' singer won't be satisfied until gay couples are granted the same rights as their heterosexual counterparts.

Last night at billionaire Ron Burkle's Los Angeles fundraiser to overturn Proposition 8, the new father had some choice words for those who oppose gay marriage, RadarOnline.com reports.

"I think I have it all," said the singer, who welcomed son Zachary via surrogate last month. "I have a wonderful career, a wonderful life. I have my health, I have a partner of 17 years, and now I have a son. I don't have everything because I don't have the respect of people like the church or like politicians who tell me that I'm not worthy, that I'm lesser because I'm gay, well f**k you!"
John performed a 90-minute set of both new material and his classic hits for the 750-person crowd, which included 'Glee' star Jane Lynch and her partner, Dr. Lara Embry.

During the event, which raised more than $3 million for the restoration of marriage equality, John continued to voice his frustration over the disparity between his rights and those of other parents.

"Here I am sitting with a wedding ring and I'm with my partner and we have a son, but we couldn't get married," he said.

Despite his joy over the birth of Zachary, John's road to fatherhood hasn't been without obstacles. Just last year, John and Furnish were turned down after trying to adopt an HIV-positive boy from the Ukraine, where civil marriages are not legally recognized.

John does, however, have hope for the future. "We have a right to be recognized as a human being. We have to fight the good fight," he said. "And we will win."

For that matter, you seek to legislate your equality and that will eventually mean I cannot use the Bible as the basis for my beliefs of marriage between a man and a woman?

You want to commit to each other in some permanent sense? Fine, I don’t care but it isn’t marriage in any sense of the word.

Call it whatever you want and I have no suggestions but it isn’t marriage. Your man partner is not your wife and the both of you can not be husband to each other.

Now, tell me the benefits, that are unassailable, for changing all of society to suit your need for parity through legislation which in truth will never exist.

Here’s the problem. Marriage is for the family, and for kids. If one guy shoots genetic material up another man’s bum, I don’t think a baby will be in the offing.

Men and women are different. It’s that simple - two halves of a whole - in conflict with each other and completion at the same time.

If they were interchangeable, men would bleed from their asses once a month, and women . . . well who really knows about women?

I don’t think anyone wakes up one day wanting to be gay. I think gay people think that if they were just more accepted in society, they’d all feel much better about themselves.

I think they’re wrong. You can make gay the new black and make heterosexual marriage a crime and its not going to change the way they feel at night alone with their god, whoever that may be.

Religiously, I believe Satan’s out to pervert and reverse what God hath wrought. Jesus created marriage himself, and specifically called for it being between man and woman. Their union enables humans to act as God does - it gives them the ability - together - to create a person.

Between homosexuality and abortion, you have the antithesis of marriage. Men depositing their essence in the waste canal of other men - an act of utter and deliberate futility.

Demons at war with demons, however. Women would sacrifice human beings at the altar of convenience, while sodomists go in search of these same children in order to build families.

There are no telethons for homosexuality. A cure for homosexuality would imperil an entire political movement. You’d think breast cancer was killing people instantly by the hundreds based on what you see on TV.

HIV is the cure they seek. Find a cure for HIV, and suddenly being homosexual doesn’t have to be a physical death sentence the way it is now.
