She certainly was very pretty. I don’t recall ever seeing any of her films, but remember her name from that era. May she find eternal peace.

Well, I can say she was damm beautiful, that’s for sure. Other than that, a good actress in the films I remember seeing her in (Man For All Seasons, Battle of Britain, They Shoot Horse’s Don’t They and Tunes of Glory) R.I.P.

I don’t recall ever seeing any of her films,

She played Sophie Weston in "Tom Jones" opposite Albert Finney.

No mention in the article of her most scandalous movie “The Killing of Sister George”.

I remember seeing her in “Tom Jones” with Tom Jones. It was directed by Tony Richardson, with cinamatography by Walter Lassally, screenplay by John Osborne.

That's quick. IMDB hasn't even been updated yet.

She was in the movie Battle of Britain. Unfortunately that movie didn't live up to its billing and its cast which had stars like Laurence Olivier.

Wow, Drop Dead Gorgeous!!!! One of the actresses I grew up watching, who as a young adolescent didn't have a crush on her?
She was talented and puts most of what passes for talent these days in the shade.
God Speed My Love, You Will Be Missed. I loved all her film roles but one that stands out that was really offbeat with a great cast was a little remembered gem called "Duffy", with James Coburn, James Fox and James Mason. The 1960's were my era for movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was awesome. I remember her so well. Some how I can’t picture her being a day over thirty , but even in ‘69 she looked ten years younger. May you stay forever young....

A wonderfully talented & beautiful actress has been called home.
I loved Susannah York in Tom Jones, & in her magnificent portrayal of Sir Thomas More’s daughter in A Man For All Seasons. Rest in peace, Susannah
