Urine Test (vanity)
email

Posted on 01/10/2011 4:55:08 PM PST by Kimmers

I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes & the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck, in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (of which I have no problem)

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So, here is my question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their BUTT----doing drugs while I work.

Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I guess we could call the program "URINE OR YOU'RE OUT"!

Random drug tests for all welfare recipients with taking away benefits for drug users would cause welfare to shrink.

If you kick all the druggies off the public dole, they’ll prolly just go out and rob the public directly and completely bypass the thieves in gov’t.

That made my day, I wish the world worked like that, what would be even more amusing would be the reaction if someone in Congress proposed that.

More likely, it would cause Whizzinator sales to increase.

Well, I also have a problem in some cases with urine tests on the job.

However if we are going to give urine tests to people who work, we should also give urine tests to people who live off the welfare of those who work.

It’s seems only fair.

Florida’s new Governor, Rick Scott has proposed this. But the cost of the test combined with the political and social environment says that we would then need to refer them to treatment would be cost prohibitive. I love the idea in theory, but in reality it will never fly.

Contrary to popular belief, you do have to study a bit to pass a urine test and it can be done.

Better idea. Drug test tax payers and if you fail, you don’t get to pay taxes.

It seems only fair, but it would cost at least $100 per welfare recipient, mmm, let’s see 40 million times one Ben per month....

And bear in mind it’s the UNTESTED people who compose the megabillion dollar black market drug industry.

Sideline the soldiers? Probably not.

Yes, welfare people should have to take pee-tests. And, I've been wondering for a while...

Why are you 'mad as hess'?

Five panel rapidscreen costs $46.00. If administered by a Fed make that $460.00. It’s still a bargain.

In my old days I would have been appalled at such a suggestion. Then................. I started working in the school district I’m in now & my eyes opened wide to how people completely live lives on the gov’t dole. It’s unbelievable..........more unbelievable at how young it starts & how it is expected.

What I don’t believe is how in my state w/ a Republican Gov.; it is not stopped. Seriously.......why won’t conservative governors pull the financial rug out & stop giving enormous sums of money to children having children?????????????? We live in Mississippi............where a whole culture of people have learned to scam the system and get it all for nothing. It makes my brother ( his liberal eyes are completely opened now too!) & I are livid that our 74 year old mother works to make ends meet & 20 year olds are hanging out doing nada.

I love your idea, but these people are such scam artists that they would pass the test even if they were about to O.D.....................
