I find myself hoping that Palin is deliberately drawing fire away from other prospective candidates.....

I think that Sarah knows, that because of the nature of politics in America, that she can’t win now, and she doesn’t want to mess it up for someone else.

She is a ethical woman, and I wish it were different. However, she has enough integrity to state the truth.

I say calm down its too early. Sarah hasnt said much in the last couple of weeks and we are not used to that. Im assuming you are gaging the silence as a decision not to run. She is letting the dust settle and see where these new guys are taking us.

she is not “deliberately” drawing fire. The media is obsessed in bringing her down, by making things up because she is by far the best Executive. Tell me which other candidate reduce spending on themselves while as Executive by 80%, helping save tonnes of money for the taxpayer, and reducing 16% in overall budget spending. She’s a very ethical person with taxpayers money

I think that that you should stay calm and see what develops as the year goes on. It is only January 5.

Where is your head? How can you have a problem with Ms. Bachmann? She is a wonderful woman who has even less baggage than Sarah has (didn’t quit in the middle of any term, has no idiot father for her grandkids, etc.).

Both women are great people and it’s ultimately up to them what they do. Regardless, they will help boost other conservatives should they decide to wait out the next election cycle.

Don’t get your panties in a wad.

My other worry is that Palin has decided not to run. I think it is a tragedy for our country if she doesn't.

A tragedy? Are you being serious? I think a lot of folks would be disappointed, but it's hardly as if every other potential candidate out there is just a complete schmuck.

In regard to Palin, I guess I just don't understand all the If I can't have you...I don't want nobody, baby mentality.

This is more lamestream daydreaming that the Tea Party will eat itself. Bachmann will not run. She is a Rep without executive experience. Santorum is the only one that really wants to ding Palin because his Conservative bonifides are in question. I would not worry, next week the MSM will drag Duncan Hunter back up to blindside Palin with some nebulous comment. This will go on until candidates actually announce.

I really don’t think this country will elect her. There just aren’t enough of us to get her in the white house.

I’m not at all worried about Bachmann doing the right thing.

2012 Presidential candidates 101:
Bachmann=electable.
Palin=not electable but should continue in her role as a fund raiser, a cheerleader for other GOP candidates and a strong voice for Conservatism.

Palin and Bachmann are on the same side; the good side.

People need to quit looking at presidential politics as a talent contest, and start recognizing it as the war it really is.

Politics is war by other means.

If we had sent one soldier at a time against the NAZIs in WW-II, the NAZIs would have delighted in greeting them individually, filling them full of holes, and gleefully singing out, "Send in your next one."

This war, however, is here. And instead of being opposed by NAZIs, Italians, and Japanese, all in identifiable uniforms, we are opposed by commie Democrats and commie RINOS, none of whom are honest about their intentions to destroy the USA and US citizens, and many who pretend to be "one of US".

Bachmann really is "one of US".

The PDS around here is quite scary. Why shouldn't Bachmann or Santorum run if they want to? There is no coronation. Palin doesn't just get the nomination handed to her. The hate around here for anyone not named Palin is sickening. It's almost like the cult like status Obama had with his zombies back in 2008. Scary stuff.
