Some of us less intelligent people might think that slaves were a valuable commodity especially since so many of them would be needed and this is why they were given good food and medical care.

The evidence doesn't support slaves as the builders of the pyramids and, though you didn't say it, certainly not Jewish slaves.

And NO ONE seems to consider the infrastructure needed to pull all this construction off without some kind of civil organization.

Military might alone could not maintain order and production as long as it was needed to complete the pyramids so it must have been a more structured environment ... like a work week with time off, etc.

THAT means there had to have been a police force and judicial system as well.

Food had to be provided to a desert people that was not only a labor force but the support personel also.

That means there had to have been a shipping/handling/transportation system.


The older I get, the more I think about the practical way life was and is, and this is one of the conclusions I've come to.

The best research I have read demonstrates that the pyramids were built off season by citizens who moved their entire families into well developed communities. According to grafiti this was honorable work done in furtherance of national pride.
