We have been independent all our lives becuase our parents taught us how to cook, clean and take care of ourselves, our families and ourselves. Plain and simple.
Cooking from scratch saves a heck of a lot of money too. No box stuff here...just don’t like it. Wish everyone would go back to making their own foods. Nothing is better than walking into the house smelling homemade goodies on the stove and in the oven. Ahhh, heaven...otherwise known as HOME. :)
Same here, but the best smell of all is home made bread. Have been doing it for years and years and not by using any bread machine.
ahhh, you have the true spirit of combining ingredients of your own to make homemade memories. Your family is very blessed and lucky as they know what has been prepared took time and was done with love. Good for you ... oh and by the way...I think I caught an aroma of that delicous, hot homemade bread with those loving hands. :)
