It is hard to believe but there are probably members of Free Republic who don’t have to start their day off by visiting FR. Personally, i would probably be a lot happier if I could get off it for a few months as stuff like those poems by our “President” really tends to frustrate me immensely. It is like I am in a time warp or a bad nightmare.

I would suggest placing your head in the sand is not productive.

I do believe that to be a sin. Those who don't must repent! I admit, FR is my "morning newspaper" in which I get up an hour early each day to read and drink my coffee to see what I missed while sleeping. Then come home and jump back on to see what I missed while working.

I'm an FR junkie. Is there a 12 step for that? I hope not!

The problem is that some go to FR and barely read the articles, let alone the discussions - which are often the most informative part. FR was again on top of this years ago.
