'What Not To Wear' fashion guru Clinton Kelly has come out blazing against fellow TLC star Sarah Palin, saying he wasn't thrilled when he heard that the ex-governor would be doing what he calls an "eight-hour info-commercial on my network." Sources tell me Clinton isn't the only star at TLC who wants nothing to do with the right-leaning politician.
"Kate Gosselin isn't very fond of her either, especially after spending several days taping an episode" of her show, 'Sarah Palin's Alaska,' sources tell me.
Sitting down with Joy Behar and myself a few days ago on her hit new HLN show, 'The Joy Behar Show,' Clinton didn't hold back when it came Sarah.
"She basically stands for everything I don't stand for or I'm against," Clinton said. "So, it's a little bit rough. What bothers me the most about her is her hypocrisy, and you know, I'm trying to be funny, but I can't think of a joke."
After Joy made it clear that she wanted her guests to say how they feel rather than crack jokes, an emotional Clinton continued, "Look at nature. Look at this beautiful Alaska. Look at how beautiful everything is. Let's go kill something because we need some meat in the refrigerator."
Oh well. Clinton better get used to sharing TLC with Sarah -- sources told me last week the network is trying to get her to sign on for a second season.
I don’t know which is which but neither should be commenting on “what not to wear” much less have a show about it. Talk about dull and duller.
Clinton is one of those judgemental east coast snobs that is entirely wrapped up in a superficial, ego-centric world. He likely eats all of his meals in restaurants and lives in a building with all the amenities where he never has to get his manicured nails dirty.
Palin lives in the real world. The world of roll up your shirt sleeves and gut fish you caught yourself. The world of adapt, innovate, suck it up and keep on walking. She does not look at nature through the lens of a resort window but is a part of it - and it is dirty, visceral and harsh. Her values are in strong relationships, personal integrity and fierce independence. She does not judge someone on whether their shoes are pointy enough to appropriately elongate the line of their leg or make fun of them because they are practical about how they spend their money.
I would much rather have Palin at the helm of our foundering ship of state than Clinton, who is obsessed with image rather than substance.
I sure could enjoy the beautiful Alaska view on a full stomach. Clinton must a vegan.

Happy Thanksgiving, my friends! I wish you joy and laughter and moist white meat. Wear something cute!
One has to wonder if this moron realizes what happens to turkeys and chickens before they are turned into "moist white meat." Hint, Clinton: The process is similar to what Sarah and father did when they killed the caribou on TLC.
Woo hoo! Stacy London isn’t a militant leftist and she’s hot!
Me too...
TLC needs to have a talk with Clinton.
And he says he just can’t stand Sarah’s hypocrisy. Oh the irony.
Just because her father was a conservative, doesn't mean she is.
London was born and raised in New York City, of Sicilian descent on her mother’s side and Jewish on her father’s.[2] Her stepmother, Victoria, is a romance novelist. Her mother, Joy, worked as a venture capitalist, and her father, Herbert London, is the president of the Hudson Institute.[3] “We don’t see eye to eye on that much politically,” she acknowledges, but “he did instill a certain sense of propriety and right and wrong in me, which plays into my fashion sensibility.

yeah well I can be wrong sometimes lol
they hassle are actually cute in one way or another
Now I realize that i'm not that particular, but damn!Just leave those girls alone and bug people who want abuse!
Winter up here is a challenge, but we live pretty mundane lives in houses with furnaces. Some of us have woodstoves (which must be fed and maintained, which adds interest), but it looks pretty much like most mountain states in the winter. We have a lot of winter festivals, and New Years Eve is when we have our fireworks displays (not much sense having them on July 4, for instance...)
Come on up and take a look... :o)
I certainly wasn’t suggesting Alaskans live without furnaces or like Chaplin in “The Gold Rush.” My greatest curiosity is the idea of living in darkness for part of the year and then living with the sun for the rest. I’m still gobsmacked that in Paris the sun doesn’t go down until 11pm in summer, lol. It’s probably because I don’t get to travel as much as I’d like and I’m interested in parts of the USA that seem quite different than the Northeast.
You have to go north of the Arctic Circle to have it dark all the time in the winter. Here, the sun is LOW, but we still get plenty of sunny days and lots of outdoor fun to take advantage of it. In the summer, on the other hand, we don't sleep much. Just enough to charge our batteries to go back out and fish some more. LOL! Most old-timers put aluminum foil over the bedroom windows to keep out the light. We get pretty ingenious at closing light leaks, in order to provide a DARK night for good sleep. :o)
