Forget the Ptarmigan, check out the scenery. Those guys are hiking in some really spectacular country! It has to be Alaska...where the Ptarmigans roam free and vicious.

My last trip to alaska, there are signs posted in one of the towns where the Ptarmigans were nesting and keep off....saw a Bald Eagles nest in the tree’s as big as a car. I guess they use the same nest every year and just repair it as needed...some get huge....
