Just goes to show you that God does have a sense of humor.
Pollute more to save yourselves from the cold.
Just another sign that the curtains have closed on Camelot.
listen... warming, cooling, it was 50/50. so i took a shot!!!
Giants fans were having a lot of fun as well. I lucked into some great seats at Lambeau in an area with some Giants team turnback tickets. The Giants fans and the team family members were a bit somber.
If it were one day earlier this would be just like Die Hard 2.
Just consider the connecting flights’ mess. It’s gonna take a week to solve this
I was commenting on that earlier to some folks. Even though not involved in the snow closures, other major hub airports that feed to the NE ones, like ATL, will have a lot of secondary effects from this. Not the least of which being people sleeping in the terminal waiting areas.
I seem to remember a lot of warnings pre-XMAS season of another planned attack throughout the US.
We heard about the postal bomb at the Swiss Embassy in Rome.
If more intel arose here, of airline associated attacks, this would appear to be a good justification to preclude such activity.
Yep, That's Snow Inside The Subway Stations
Did you hear the one about the two traveling salesmen that got caught in a winter storm?
Yep. They landed in the ditch in front of a farm and the beautiful Wisconsin Farm Gal helped get them out, gave them dinner, then tucked them in for the night.
A few months later, the two salesmen met up again and got to talking:
Fred: Did you spend the night with that Farm Gal when we were stuck in the snow storm a few months back?
Ted: Well, yes, I did. She was so beautiful and friendly...I couldn’t resist her!
Fred: Well, did you happen to give her MY name as your own?
Ted: Well, yes. I did tell her my name was Fred and not Ted.
Fred: Well, I’ll be! I got a letter from her laywer this week. Seems she died and she left ME the farm!
LOL! (I love that joke. Good, clean Midwest humor. And I’m sure a little more truth to it than any of us Farm Gals will ever admit to, LOL!)
Excellent! I’ve been to Lambeau twice. It’s like being in church. :)
