Yes, I too am spending this Christmas in solitude. Getting ready to go make eggnog. Time to stop with the tears of joy listening to the beautiful voices of Bocelli and Dion, Sissel and Groban. Prasie the Lord, we are so very blessed.
Happy Christmas to you and Ralphie, bro.
Yes. I am baking an apple pie. Going to get the turkey out and ready to put ion the oven early tomorrow then have Christmas at my sisters house down the road with the rest of the family. This is the first turkey I have cooked. It is the first Christmas turkey my mom has not cooked. She is still around but it is time for me to take over the turkey cooking. She might drop it!!!!
“You’ll shoot your eye out kid!”
Hubby is snoozing in the rocking chair, The Nutcracker is playing on ‘Sounds of the Seasons’, and I am with dozens of friends — all here on line.
Did JimRob know he was going to do this for us? Bless him.
This business of “Holiday”/”Christmas” has awakened sleeping believers. The internet is a big part of this. We are all in this together — as we are never alone.
I went to Frys today to buy A Christmas Story and all sold out so we will be having a Ralphie free Christmas..
Make sure your Boxer is not named Barbara.

There are times that I envy my married contemporaries but having passed 60 I know that has passed me by as well. Probably a blessing as a confirmed bachelor would be a beast to bear for a good woman.
Some reading with good Christmas Carols and a couple glasses of reasonable port with Stilton. I love Loreena McKennit’s “A Midwinter Night’s Dream”.
I will be privileged to spend tomorrow with my 93 yo Dad (WW2/Korea & Vietnam) and my Brother (USMA 72) and his wife.
God Bless EVERYONE and goodnight to all!
I will be soon.Had the wild and crazy 4yr old grandson here. all day.The dog and cat are totally stressed out.

I’m no longer alone as I found the love of my life at age 57 and 5 years later we are still going strong but I have been alone on Christmas Eve many times and its not necessarily a bad thing. A good time to relax and reflect on the past year and look forward to spending Christmas Day with family and loved ones.
Merry Chistmas to you, your dog and all of your family.
I’m alone for the first time in quite a few years.
We did some shuffling of holiday schedules so it works out fine. Like you,I’ll see everone tomorrow.
Drinking Spiced Chai and eating peanut butter cups.
