Just wondering if anyone else out there is spending the evening alone. Not necessarily a bad thing. I'm sipping a cappuccino and taking in "A Christmas Story" in the old man cave. I'll be with family tomorrow, but as of tonight, it's my faithful Boxer and me. And Ralphie.

Just my opinion, if you shoot 'em in city limits the only "crime" you commit is discharging a firearm in city limits.
IMO, a person who molests a child removes them from standing as a human being. Shooting them is just "taking out" the trash.
I heard of a case where a woman, abused by her own father when she was a child, went public with her story. Although the criminal statute of limitations had passed, she filed a civil suit and won. She got his house and all his possessions. Inadequate compensation for what she must have gone through, but it would not have happened a generation ago.
Even though there is evil in the world, even though injustice pervails for awhile, even though people might fail you, there is still a God who loves you.

Pain and RAGE,for different reasons ive been dealing with same as you for 30+ years. pain is easy to deal with.Whats hard is seeing someone that harmed you be treated the same by peaople you love,or even better.They know what they did and are paying for it inside,even if its hard to see.Maybe they will someday confront the issue. and try to make things as right as can be done .

I wish my memory were better. The preacher tonight talked about how are perception of the “baby in the manger, all meak and mild” is a bit off. Yes, He was a baby. But in that manger was the God that spoke into being the Universe.
And He did not come to Earth to be a meak and mild baby, but came to destroy (I think that was the word) the Evil and Sin of the world.
I pray that for you Salamander, and for all of us - that we will rest in the fact that God came to earth as a human to know what it is to be human. To be brutalized, to have our claims ignored, to be punished for making those claims. But He also rested in the fact that He spoke the truth, and that He pleased His Father. And that He knew that one day - He would be victorious. And that we share in that that Victory!
Define alone? I was with a buddy and his wife and a good friend. Thats not alone but it isnt the type of Christmas eve I wished for.
If alone you meant without a lover...then I did that.

I spent Christmas Eve with some friends at an Iraqi restaurant last night. Good times.
It is now Christmas afternoon and I just had Christmas dinner with FReeper Sarajevo and one of his buddies at the DFAC.
