Just wondering if anyone else out there is spending the evening alone. Not necessarily a bad thing. I'm sipping a cappuccino and taking in "A Christmas Story" in the old man cave. I'll be with family tomorrow, but as of tonight, it's my faithful Boxer and me. And Ralphie.
Football? What’s a football?
Merry Christmas.
You might have excerpted that though.
Very uncool of her.
Merry Christmas!
I never knew hummingbirds made any noise we could hear! Don’t you often wish you’d taken pictures?
Take care, Patriot. God bless, and Merry Christmas!
Prayers up Pastor.
The wine’s a Facelli. Lou Facelli was a neighbor of mine when I lived in Seattle. Little bitty tasting room in the middle of an industrial park in Woodinville. Last I heard he only sold to restaurants because they tend to clean him out. This is nectar... ;-)
What a wonderful gift for you! My daughter in the Coast Guard is due in at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. We’ll run her through the shower, stuff her with coffee and food, and take her to church. Then she can go to bed for 24 hours.
Yes...and I was really drinking it. You should give it another try. Try the regular chocolate one in the blue container. I didn't like it when I was a kid either.
I’m here with my Sons. They’re all I need.
(Yes. We all are playing Left 4 Dead 2. Killin’ zombies...AGAIN!)
It wasn't a total loss, though.
I just got a visit from Santa Jaws.
He brought me a fresh deer leg.
Ain't askin' where *that* came from.
LOL. I bet the marrieds envy you at times.
This afternoon I was thinking about how nice it would have been to have a family, kids and all. As I closed the kitchen cabinet door, I felt blessed that I was solo because I could do what I wanted when I wanted and there is no one to complain about it. I never hear any nagging. Life is tough at times and somehow I manage.
I dislike Thanksgiving. The focus is too much family oriented and that poor turkey. Christmas is focused on our Savior and filled with beautiful music about Him. Soothing, comforting and loving. We're never alone. He is with us. Sing to The Lord with all your hearts!
God Bless us all!
It wasn’t religion got me tossed aside but I know the feeling, anyway.
I wonder if its better than a good bourbon?....I honestly haven’t even seen a can of it in years....must be just blanking it out of my mind based on my first try...:O)
Found a bottle ad my discount store from the Woodbridge Winery, Lodi Appelation, vintage 1998, for $9.99. Excellent. (None of that mass produced stuff.) Apparently made from grapes imported from Portugal and planted in 1988.
I had a minor "incident" a couple years back. Turned out it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Prodded me into a lot of healthy lifestyle changes, and I'm a lot healthier now than then.
The medical technology today, including those monitors, is really amazing. Despite our nation's flaws, despite our current leaders, we are truly blessed to live in a time like this and in a country like this.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Oh, I’ve been SINGING the praises! And thank you, too.
I started working when I was 13. I’m 49 now. This is the first time I drew unemployment. They pretty much had to lead me around like a child at the unemployment office. I was completely clueless. Kinda embarrassing. Not working was driving me crazy. I’m very happy.
