Point being that Rove has gone out of his way to help liberal RINOs antithetical to the Conservative cause while simultaneously (again) going out of his way to undermine said Conservatives looking to change the culture of DC. He has no right to claim he’s on our side when he stabs people like O’Donnell in the back while getting on kneepads for corrupt, Socialist scum like Kirk.

Hopefully, Christine O’Donnell will start a talk show or something like that.

Karl Rove has an excellent grasp of voting and demographic patterns that is almost unmatched in the nation. He is a brilliant tactician. But he has trouble seeing the forest from the trees and lacks a big picture perspective, which is the real reason he is aghast at anti-establishment candidates.

Speaking for myself, I have supported many strong conservative outsiders in primaires, like Mike Lee in Utah, Todd Tiahrt in Kansas, Joe Miller in Alaska, and J.D. Hayworth in Arizona, and I did so with real enthusiasm. It’s the policy of supporting the most conservative candidates who can get elected within the constituancies they are running in. There are always variables, like demographic changes, media costs, and overall political trends, but in the end, the demographics within the states or districts are always the most important factor. There is no getting around it. We both know what the demograpics and recent voting histories of Delaware and Illinois are.
