Hopefully, Christine O’Donnell will start a talk show or something like that.

Karl Rove has an excellent grasp of voting and demographic patterns that is almost unmatched in the nation. He is a brilliant tactician. But he has trouble seeing the forest from the trees and lacks a big picture perspective, which is the real reason he is aghast at anti-establishment candidates.

Speaking for myself, I have supported many strong conservative outsiders in primaires, like Mike Lee in Utah, Todd Tiahrt in Kansas, Joe Miller in Alaska, and J.D. Hayworth in Arizona, and I did so with real enthusiasm. It’s the policy of supporting the most conservative candidates who can get elected within the constituancies they are running in. There are always variables, like demographic changes, media costs, and overall political trends, but in the end, the demographics within the states or districts are always the most important factor. There is no getting around it. We both know what the demograpics and recent voting histories of Delaware and Illinois are.

I disagree about Rove. I think his grasp and intelligence are extraordinarily overrated. When I started to see his interference on behalf of old liberals in the party and force-feeding of these buffoons down our throats for candidates, I knew this guy’s agenda was NOT a Conservative one. The fact that he was big time “in the tank” for two candidates in two races where both state party establishments were in complete collusion with one another (DE & IL) was the icing on the cake. He is not on our side.

She should have her own show on Fox. Christine is extremely likeable and people would watch that show. I’d definitely watch that show.
