When I got home, I noticed that the receipt showed that the cashier had only charged me for one of the sets. I did not notice if she put both under the scanner so I don't know if it is a misread or an error on the part of the cashier.
There was a woman in front of me who caused her nearly a half hour of grief over coupons and sale prices, so she was a little distracted when she got to me. I don't want her to lose her job, but I feel the need to call and tell them that I was not charged for all my items.
It is only a $20 DVD but I feel a twinge on honesty. I would love to have the opinion of your readers.
Yes.
If you go back and pay, please let me know how much grief they give you.

I would, and I have in the past - to mixed response
I once got back home from the gas station that I go to almost every day to find that the $10 bill I had brought to pay was still in my pocket- I went right back and told the cashier what happened her respoinse was to snatch the bill from my hand and tell me that the cops were already out looking for me. This is a stupid-ass that I saw on nearly a daily basis
My next response to her is un-printable here.
Abe Lincoln walked 3 miles to return a penny.
Of course, eventually someone shot him in the head.
I’m not sure that there is an actual cause and effect there though. (But it was one of the funniest things I’ve read in a long long time)
You don’t have to take the receipt. Just take the item and pay for it. No need for Target to know which cashier slipped up. Don’t worry. They’ll still take the money.
Huh? What an amusing response! I am unfamiliar with the Cthulu fairy tale or your faith system. One need not be soulless to disbelieve in fairy tales.
I visit FR for education and entertainment!
Because it's chump change. If I were to have noticed at check out, the only honorable option would be to point it out to the clerk.
Why would that be relevant? It's Sam Johnson, but I fail to understand why the selection of the majority in my Congressional district would be relevant to this discussion.
I am an atheist; my honesty has nothing to do with a belief in a god.
Become familiar with Cthulu, the Devourer of Souls.
Gaze upon YOUR GOD:
And remember: That is not dead which can eternal lie / After strange aeons even death may die.
Your God is evil and insane, he has Unfathomable Mountains if Madness. He will show you how to shout and kill and revel and be in joy.
I get sleet and rain tonight. First in 450 years for those that have clear sky. Being the Winter Solstice the Moon will be very visible and full.
You are doing Well on Following Your Path to Cthulu.
He NEVER SLEEPS, and he waits. He waits until he can rise again as one of the Old Ones, and cause pain and murder and laughter and tears of joy.
THAT ... IS ... REALLY ... BIZARRE.
But it is entertaining. BTW, my God’s name is not to be spoken.
Best suggestion of all!
