No Mark Levin thread seen tonight
Listening to Mark's show - substitute host (Tom Marr). His beloved Griffin passed away yesterday afternoon.
.
Thank you FRiend.
My gosh, another today. I’m so sorry. Griffen will find he has new friends joining him as they cross the Rainbow Bridge.
Well, God bless Mattie. Allow yourself to grieve awhile and know that she IS waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge while playing with all the other critters who are waiting, too. She’s safe and happy.
My Schnitzel was almost 18 when she passed. You have my sympathiy.
It just happened. I heard Tom’s comments at the start of the show and went looking for the thread and didn’t find one. Thought Mark’s regulars would want to know so threw a link to the show and posted..
We know when we get a dog, we will most likely outlive them and when they leave us it’s gonna hurt like hell. We do it anyway. The love and companionship they give us makes it so worthwhile.
Largely true. But we all draw the line in different places: dogs, cats, chinchillas, rabbits, parrots, parakeets, hamsters, etc. Heck, I remember how much crying and sadness there was amongst some folks about a bunch of old trees being harvested. For me, I’m more prone to wild garanimals. The story about the eagle in Alaska picking off the RV tourist lady’s toy poodle still gives me a chuckle....especially since the husband was reported to have been high-fiving the gas station attendant.
Thx. Took some convincing to talk the rancher into selling me a B.C. with out the ranch. Always felt bad she could’nt chase sheep [she always did in her sleep] Had to settle for frisbees, tennis balls, and vortex[s]. Hope she’s gently tormenting a few sheep right now.
I’ve been there too.
I’m so sorry, don-o. Be good to yourself. I’m sure Peter would want that.
The martini I emailed him had 3 olives in it.
Bless you and your baby. It is so hard. I remember every animal I ever had and still cry over the loss of them even when I lost them in childhood.
Of course. Nothing short of perfection. What vodka did you use?
It just breaks my heart. We rescue elder dogs. They come ready made, but they also come older, and with issues. This past March, we had to give one up. It’s never easy. We’re on our 3rd elder rescue. We love these guys. The need a home more so than puppies.
That’s the trade off. I love the older dogs. We’re watching our 11 year old, he’s been part of our family for 3 years now. I can’t stress how joyful rescuesing elders has been. Elders need a home much more that puppies. God bless Griffen and the Levin family. Mark gave him four fabulous years! That’s more than Griffen ever expected. Griffen had the best life he ever could have imagined.
Mark, he knew when he had to go, and he timed it perfectly. He knew your schedule, and he took care of YOU.
Remember him for his joy.
Prayers up for Mark and his family.
Snideley Whiplash at least has some style. Harry Reid is a zombie.
The pets we rescue, whether homeless or shelter animals, are the ones who love us the most. They exhibit an undying gratitude that you can see in their eyes.
I’m sorry to hear about your and Mark’s losses.
