Worst thing about lawn darts is when some klutz would lob one straight upwards. You'd cover your head with your hands, but then it would come down and go through your hands into your skull, so there you were running around with your hands nailed to your head with a lawn dart.

Just an all around bad scene.

Don’t forget racing belt sanders! I don’t think dad ever found out...

There was a time when we built our own soap box derby race car out of a couple of bikes and some scrap lumber.

On the first run down Dennison Hill we realized that we had neglected to include brakes in the design.

That, actually, made it even more fun.

He’s real. I know that because yesterday morning he destroyed the comforter on our bed. Yesterday evening he got a 10 dollar bill off my wife’s dresser and ate more than half of it.
