Victor Borge did more for punctuation than any other musical artist.

If you haven’t already, you have *got* to see the movie “SUCK”.

Alice, Iggy, Henry Rollins and Moby all have parts in it...*and* Malcolm McDowell.

Gonna be a cult classic.

The final scene alone is worth it.

No, he did not. The original plan, when Bogert and Appice said they wanted out of the Fudge in 1970, was for a BBAS group. But Beck got in a terrible car wreck and BA went on to form “Cactus” for about two years-—great band, horrible vocalist. They never got above minor cult status, although their jams are some of the best ever recorded. (I had the opportunity to play with Jim McCarty, the guitarist, in my band for three nights. Phenomenal). Anyway, when Beck healed, Stewart was solo and so BBA was formed with really no lead vocalist. Neither Carmine nor Tim were good enough vocally to carry a band, nor were the songs great.

My mistake. I thought I remembered Rod Stewart singing “Morning Dew” on that one. Thanks for the correction.

Stewart did the vocals on Beck-ola. Morning Dew was one of them.

Thanks! My memory isn’t what it used to be.

I have a very clear memory of sitting in my 1968 VW Squareback on a cliff in Montauk waiting for the morning fog to lift so I could get a look at the surf. I was with my surfing buddy Frankie and WNEW FM was playing Morning Dew. It was early October. We were eating jelly donuts.

It was a very long time ago.

Would have been a great group, although honestly Beck never fit as well with the Bogert/Appice style as Jimmy McCarty did.

BTW, if you haven't seen the DVD "Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's," do so. He is simply the best rock guitarist ever.

I remember listening to the 33-1/3 vinyl version of "Beck-Ola" with Rod on "Morning Dew" one early morning about 5 am or so after my friend Brian O and I had gotten off work.

Jelly donuts, hot coffee, and a quantity of a certain illicit substance were involved. We watched the sun come up. That was a very long time ago, indeed.
