Can’t be true. Climate scientists declared months ago that 2010 is the warmest year in history in the UK.

Officially, a major reason the Thames no longer freezes is because bridges were torn down/constructed differently in the 1800's. Now (so they say) the River Thames flows too quickly to freeze over.

I would love to see sufficiently cold weather for a sufficiently long time to actually freeze the river. The last frost fair was in 1814-15 (Dec - Feb). It would just kill GW to see another frost fair.
