To this day I have no idea what snapped that enormous tree like a twig.Serious business going on in the woods that night!

You must be southwest to know about havelinas.
Those guys are different than a pig. They much more aggressive and even travel in pack. They are all over Senora like rats.
I agree.
Mean little SOBs.

Ok, this is going to sound strange, but Sasquatch are known to do that. There have been many reports of tree breaks where a healthy tree is broken off 10+ feet off the ground. Some of the trees are quite large. Many of these reports also have sightings of the creatures.
Did you notice any footprints or vegetation mashed down around the tree?
Any tree knocking sounds?
Any vocalizations or howls that night?
Where was this, what state/area?
Now there you done it... gone and made me look crazy! :)

Well, that particular picture is definitely a flash picture. Looks to me like it's taken with some sort of night vision camera. It looks like there is some sort of light source, but it may not be visible light. The arms look like toothpicks because most of their width did not show up in the picture, only that part at an angle to reflect light back to the camera.
It's a guy who was walking through the forest and bent down to examine the deer camera. The picture is weird because it's some sort of night vision camera. The guy was probably wearing glasses.

Now there’s a recipe worth printing on a 3X5! lol

You're a wise one Cajun and I like your thinking ;-). There's really nothing too bad down here in the south Louisiana marsh, swamp and woods except maybe gators, snakes and the occasional 2 legged nere'-do-well, but being well armed gives one confidence if things unexpectedly hit the fan.
What I can't understand is the enviro nuts, greenies and city folk who go out in bear and cougar country with nothing more then their little backpacks and cameras while skipping along in their flip flops or jogging shoes.

More than weird, have you ever seen humans with those kind of glowing eyes ?
To: goldstategop
Skunk Ape is what I think. You got something the Monster Hunters never got in a whole season of shows.

But what if it is made of titanium, with composite graphite fingers????Then none of us has a chance. Even if we nuke that bayou from orbit we can never be sure it didn't get out alive somehow.

Discounting that this might be some kind of hoax, yes, your right, creepy.

Why are all the pics FUZZY?, when it's weird or strange?
Certainly one camera out of a thousand works properly.
BUNK!

It's actually an old coonass joke about how to cook “pouldo” (duck like water foul called coots everywhere else). Taste really horrible just about any way cooked.
The joke has many steps to it that I left out like when to add peppers, spices and creole seasonings. You set the person up with an elaborate recipe and then hit him with the punch line.
Usually you'll get a "You no good SOB" as a reply ;^)

Pouldo?
Haven’t heard that word in decades.
Have you ever eaten one? Their meat is so dark it is almost black.
Very strong flavor. But it is edible.
