With Castle's Dream Act vote, Christine O'Donnell was totally vindicated.

Posted on 12/09/2010 6:18:31 AM PST by Sybeck1

Christine O'Donnell is a hero to all for taking out Mike Castle. His "Dream Act" vote cemented that. His yes vote in the house would have been at much more strength, as he could have easily voted for cloture, giving the horrendous act of amnesty bipartition cover. Primaries for RINOs is the only way to save our republic, and my this Castle vote be the first topic Hannity of the other talking heads bring up to Tokyo Rove.

It’s just the way the cookie crumbled. People should face it . . . when a candidate gets crushed that badly, one doesn’t have to look far and wide for the reason(s).

Tom Ross -- head of the Delaware Republican Party who led the attack on the Party's own candidate.

I remember reading somewhere that the Republicans maxed-out the contributions to her campaign,

Not correct. They could have run independent expenditures like they did in other States.

The problem is taht one candidate can only buy so many ads per hour. If the national Republican groups had gotten involved, they could have bought more ads per hour. It was not about the money.

Christine O’Donnell was a kooky wannabe pundit who happened to catch a surprise wave of completely understandable anti-RINO sentiment

You are ignorant. Watch this review of Christine's experience:

she was a very flawed candidate.

There is no doubt that she was NOT a flawed candidate. There is no doubt that Tom Ross, head of the Delaware State GOP, launched a civil war against the GOP candidate

She lied about her degree, she lied about her house forclosure, she lied about past election accomplishments, yadda yadda.

Christine did not lie about any of those things. You are repeating the slander that Tom Ross, head of the Republican Party, spread against a Republican candidate. Christine was the victim of lies by the Delaware insiders.

She is DUMB beyond measure. And I don't support liars.

Then why do you support those who lied about Christine?

Christine is much smarter than you are.
Take a look at her speaking at:

Christine did not have any baggage. Christine had knives in her back from the GOP party establishment and insiders. Begin stabbed in the back does not mean one has baggage.

How can people be so blind as to believe that Karl Rove has such a sway over the electorate he can sway 16% of the vote?

16% of Republicans voted for Coons, that's how.

but she absolutely had too much baggage.

being lied about and stabbed in the back by the GOP insiders is not "baggage." Christine did not have any baggage. She had knives in the back from the GOP insiders. See: www.FireTomRoss.com

That is the definition of a weak candidacy, that even a 2:1 spending margin cannot get you even close to within 10%.

First, your numbers are flawed. You have to include the Democrat National Committee's spending (the RNC did nothing), the Democrat National Senatorial Committee, the SEIU, and other unions.

When you include all spending, you see that CHristine was OUTSPENT by the Democrats. Christine's campaign stood entirely alone.

Second, in a State with a 110,000 Democrat voter registration over Republicans, a loss of HALF that number ain't bad. Your comments are simplistic and naive.

Let's face it, she was a little shady about her education and financial issues, etc. When that kind of thing gets out, it makes people question you, therefore making you a weak candidate. Whether there's any truth to it or not doesn't really matter because if you are a conservative and the media gets hold of these things, all bets are off. I'll agree that the establishment guys were against her but I refuse to believe that Karl Rove drove 16% or Republicans to vote for Coons. If she lost 16% of her own party - espeically to a lefty like Coons - then it's her darn fault.

How many times does this make that she has run for office up there? She's never going to win. I would have certainly voted for her over Coons, but I remain unimpressed by her and cannot help but question her. I want as many ultra conservatives in there as the next person but I question the wisdom of 100% purity test in races like this. We just elected Rand Paul here in KY and he is very conservative but we can get away with that in KY.

No, she was not. Let's face it: When you try to take power away from the statist liberals, they will fight back. 100% GUARANTEED. 100% OF THE TIME. ALWAYS. THEY WILL FIGHT BACK.

They will lie about the conservative candidate. 100% GUARANTEED. 100% OF THE TIME. ALWAYS. THEY WILL FIGHT BACK.

The question is how GULLIBLE are you BGCon? Did you just fall off the turnip wagon last week? Still got hayseed in your hair? Are you naive? Or do you understand the tactics used by the statists, insiders, and elites?

When Obama says idiotic things, the Democrats close ranks and defend him.
http://www.ObamaGaffes.org

But Republicans form a circular firing squad and attack each other.

BGCON, you are a volunteer for the liberals. You are doing the liberals work for them, and they aren't even paying you for it. You are doing the heavy lifting for the socialists and liberals, and THEY GOT YOU TO DO IT FOR FREE!

When you repeat and spread elitist and liberal lies against conservatives, you should be on the payroll of George Soros. I AM NOT SAYING YOU ARE. I am saying the liberals got you CHEAP.

Christine ran for real ONCE before -- Against friggin JOE BIDEN. No one else had the guts to try to take on Joe Biden. None of the elected officials in Delaware gave it a chance.

Having taken on Joe Biden, Presidential candidate, and not winning is hardly a disqualification. IT IS A BADGE OF HONOR

In 2006, Christine made a brief, last minute, attempt at the nomnination at the May 2006 convention.

The 2006 GOP nominee Jan Ting got 29% of the vote against 70% for Carper.
