I guess it’s not so great to be a Florida Gator right about now. Glad we have Jimbo.

I hope he consulted Favre on a decision of this magnitude.

I think it boiled down to realizing that after winning two titles at UF, there was nowhere to go but down for Meyer. It happens with coaches who have sudden success at a school. Saban is another one who I suspect will start to feel the same at Bama.

I think combined with the health issues, Meyer just decided it just wasn’t worth it, the mountain had already been climbed.

Now watch the NCAA investigate the Florida program. But of course, Meyer’s timely resignation is nothing more than a COINCIDENCE!!!

Typical Seminole fan, win one game out of the last 6 years and you guys think you dominate northern Florida. Where were you last year?

Does that mean in the near future the teams that will dominate the SEC will be Alabama, Auburn (provided they get out of the Cam Newton scandal) and LSU?

It’s looking more and more that it will be Dan Mullen taking the job.

WOW!!! I listened to Rush and then Hannity or Sullivan or Cavuto and didn't hear this news until this evening. Meyer lost the team when he suspended Rainey and never got it back. I, for one, am saddened, yet happy, he's leaving. Bring back the Ole Ball Coach for his swan song!
