I watched John and Kate plus 8 from the beginning, and I watch several other great TLC shows, nobody is voted off the Island and things eventually work out.

Kate was a RN and is very picky,she runs a tight ship, however even though John was a good Dad, he had a regular job,and was not as thorough and picky as Kate. The first couple of years the show was a delight and great Family entertainment, then things started going downhill.

Most viewers noticed that Kate was getting more bitchy to John and his body language said everything. Even though they renewed their vows, and they had their teeth done,and other little makeover goodies, it was beginning to look bad, and it came across the Television screen as the beginning of the end.

It went on too long, but basically they are nice people that should probably had different partners. too bad for the Children, they deserved better.

Well, there is another consideration. TLC is their network, and they wanted to increase the viewers of Sarah’s show and it helps Kate and 8 too.

... so I think it was not either of Sarah’s or Kate’s ideas ... but the people at TLC.

It is all about the money from commercials which is based on numbers of viewers watching.

Sarah is winning friends, and showing Alaska and her family in a really good way. Sarah is smart as a whip (as the old expression goes). Yes I will watch it. The children are cute too.

Women like Kate are all over suburbia. Whether they are average in looks, like Kate, or fabulous model-types, they are a royal pain.

In the gym I go to the "cougars" are worse than the guys and way worse than the younger females for raunchiness. They are very brazen to say the least.

You see 40's something females coming onto young guys, telling them out loud what they want to do with them without abandon and not caring who hears...

This appearance of Kate and the Children is a contractual deal with Shows that are on the same network. This is to pump up the declining numbers for Kate Plus Eight. As discussed on other threads, Most networks that have a number of Shows loan their Stars to a lesser ratings performing Show on the same network. The Kids are a great attraction, and Sarah is really good with Kids. Sarah will look very good, and she can handle even the Prima Donna that Kate has become.

Sarah is a quick study,voracious reader,deep thinker, and long term future planner. The wheels are always turning in her head thinking of strategies to implement way in the future. This is clearly a Reaganesque trait.
