Today will be interesting. Tiger was never really under as much pressure to win as everyone else, because he won so much. Now, he is trying to avoid a shutout for the year. This may make him feel more nervous than a major championship.
Just don’t care. Who would be interested in this lying POS who posed as the happy family man to sell us a bunch of crap? From Buicks to Nike, none of it is actually important. This is an off-season tournament, anyway.

Personal foibles aside, it will be interesting to see if he can ever dominate again.
Note who Rogers tried to leave in the rough ... Lefty blew three golden opportunities to take over No. 1 ... but his Masters smoking was the Win of the Year and probably his peak lifetime acheivement ... and the juxtaposition of Tiger stalking off to his limo while Phil was swept up by his family was the Visual of the Year ...

Interesting. Didn’t realise Westwood had managed to pass him, finally.
I was rooting for Kaymer. If Kaymer passes him, that will be a true changing of the guard, as Kaymer is younger than Woods. This isn’t even close to being the longest that he’s been out of the number one ranking, he was number 2 for 32 weeks behind Vijay Singh.
That being said, Tiger is still a year ahead of Nicklaus. Nicklaus had 14, to match Tiger when he was 35. Woods would have to lose another 4 major tournaments. Nicklaus also didn’t win number 15 until he was 38.
The records are pretty much his.

He's not putting well today and he's never lost a 56 hole lead when leading 3 or better.

Three par-5s on the back nine at Sherwood so maybe things will heat up.
Par-5 13th is a pitching and putting problem for Tiger, scoring 7. McDowell birdies and the three-stroke swing now has McDowell up by two with five to play.
