THE ART OF THE CLINTON DEAL

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3458687/posts?page=1

EXAMPLE ONE: THE IRAN DEAL Clinton Has Touted Her Work In Being “Part Of The Coalition That Brought Us To The Point Of This Agreement.”CLINTON: “Having been part of the coalition that brought us to the point of this agreement, I think we will have to immediately upon completion of this agreement and its rigorous enforcement, look to see how we build a coalition to try to prevent and undermine Iran’s bad behaviors in other arenas.”(Hillary Clinton,Remarks On U.S. Iran Nuclear Deal, Washington, D.C., 7/14/15)

EXAMPLE TWO: THE RUSSIA RESET

EXAMPLE THREE: TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP

[snip]

[Will next post it in it’s entirety.]

I love this guy! I was working on a vanity along the same lines.

The Candidates’ website did it before me????

The nerve of Hillary being against the Free Traders. Her husband ran on being tough on China. People forget that, but THE CLINTONS SOLD US OUT to China! Not only did it hurt the Free World militarily, but it hurt the USA economically. Heck, it even hurt the rest of the Western Hemisphere economically.

What I believe to be the most treasonous act of these opertatives of foreign spies? Chinagate led to nuclear proliferation — China now sometimes threatens to nuke our cities, and they rival us in the Space Race, and they proliferated Clinton’s tech giveaways to North Korea [which ended up in Iran].

Why did the Clintons sell us out?

For campaign cash during the ‘96 race.

Thompson Hearing [on Chinagate]

Preface

In mid-1995, the President and his strategists decided that they needed to raise and spend many millions of dollars over and above the permissible limits of the Presidential campaign funding law if the President was going to be reelected. They devised a legal theory to support their needs and proceeded to raise and spend $44 million in excess of the Presidential campaign spending limits.

The lengths to which the Clinton/Gore campaign and the White House-controlled Democratic National Committee were willing to go in order to raise this amount of money is essentially the story of the 1996 Presidential campaign scandal. The President and his aides demeaned the offices of the President and Vice President, took advantage of minority groups, pulled down all the barriers that would normally be in place to keep out illegal contributions, pressured policy makers, and left themselves open to strong suspicion that they were selling not only access to high-ranking officials, but policy as well. Millions of dollars were raised in illegal contributions, much of it from foreign sources. When these abuses were discovered, the result was numerous Fifth Amendment claims, flights from the country, and stonewalling from the White House and the DNC.

Over a brief period of three months of hearings, the
Committee was able to fulfill its responsibility in laying out the available facts to the American people. A much clearer picture of what happened during the 1996 Presidential campaign has been developed and presented. However, many questions remain unanswered. It is now the responsibility of the Attorney General or, more appropriately, an independent counsel to take these facts and aggressively pursue any and all indications of
criminal wrong-doing. Indeed, the three most important legal developments to come out of the 1996 campaign finance scandal are all attributable to the investigation conducted by the Committee on Governmental Affairs. First, Yah Lin ``Charlie’’ Trie, an associate of the President, has been indicted for, among other things, obstruction of the Committee’s investigation. Second, Maria Hsia, a prominent Democratic fundraiser, has been indicted for laundering campaign contributions that were a focus of the Committee’s inquiry. Finally, the Attorney General has requested appointment of an independent counsel to determine whether Secretary of the Interior Bruce Babbitt lied to the Committee.

Senate Report 105-167

INVESTIGATION OF ILLEGAL OR IMPROPER ACTIVITIES IN CONNECTION WITH 1996 FEDERAL ELECTION CAMPAIGNS

_______________________

FINAL REPORT

of the

COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

UNITED STATES SENATE

[I excerpted out some of the redundant pompousness]

_______________________

COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

[Most names edited out.]

FRED THOMPSON, Tennessee, Chairman

[Very kind hearted, but a lousy investigator. He later got rolled by the ‘star witness’ he got suckered into giving immunity. It was a painful moment even though his ‘star’ witness was not needed.]

~~~
SUSAN COLLINS, Maine
[Impressively energetic and sharp. The best investigator there, although NICKLES could have given her a run for her money if he had more time. After her research in this hearing, Collins has no excuse for not being ‘Never Hillary’ all the way.]
~~~

JOHN GLENN, Ohio

[Remember when he got a post-senate flight into orbit? Glenn [a democrat] was the biggest sell-out in this hearing. Nothing seemed improper to him. I think Clinton offered him a deal to fly in space if he torpedoed this hearing.]

JOSEPH I. LIEBERMAN, Connecticut

[The only democrat to say anything critical about his party regarding their discoveries. But just as Larry Klayman predicted, Lieberman returned to the party line when it was over.]

DANIEL K. AKAKA, Hawaii

[Sounded like a complete moron. Democrat, BTW.]

DON NICKLES, Oklahoma RICHARD J. DURBIN, Illinois

[Very sharp. I was profoundly impressed. But his time was shockingly limited.]

~~~
ARLEN SPECTER, Pennsylvania
[Cagy prosecutor. I liked him at the time based on this hearing.]
~~~

ROBERT G. TORRICELLI, New Jersey

[Quite a character. A democrat partizan proven later to be to corrupt for New Jersey.]

~~~
ROBERT F. BENNETT, Utah
[Unmemorable at the time, but he later chaired the Y2K hearings.]
