If you are going to get “The Pacific” you need to either watch it all in one weekend or take notes when you watch it. Otherwise you will forget who most characters portray and not enjoy it as much. It is an excellent series just not as well told as Band of Brothers.

I am getting a police scanner. We live 3 blocks from the freeway and police cars, ambulances and firetrucks go past my house every day and I never know where they are going or why.
Why? I am just nosy I guess.
