2 separate chemicals - still separated - do not produce a scent that would set off one dog. The explosives you are being screened for are not explosive when brought onto the airplane. They are combined after they are on the plane and the plane is in mid air. I’m not in favor of the TSA even existing, but I do see what they are doing and why they are doing it. Ever consider they have specific intelligence as to a real and present threat? I’m not saying they do, but MAYBE they do...

please they cant even light their shoes or set off their underwear on a plane let alone perform a chemistry experiment. unless they can drive a Ryder Truck onto the plane.

I wonder if the dogs could be trained to sniff out each chemical that could be used to make and explosive.....
