2 separate chemicals - still separated - do not produce a scent that would set off one dog. The explosives you are being screened for are not explosive when brought onto the airplane. They are combined after they are on the plane and the plane is in mid air. I’m not in favor of the TSA even existing, but I do see what they are doing and why they are doing it.
