The whole situatiion with Barbara Bush and Sarah Palin, reminded me of an old Classic movie from 1947, called: 'The Farmers Daughter'. Wel I can't find a link to the movie(streaming)..but I was able to come up with a link from Lux Rasio Theatre from '48 of the program, that starred the original cast members. It's not as good as being able to see it, and it has been cropped a bit, but it's quite good.

It's the first on the list of dfownloadable files. Im sure you'll enjoy, and find it illuminating iof you listen to it all the way through:

Yes, she did :-)

There really are a lot of parallels in this movie to Palin - the "machine" was out to get her, invented scandals, etc.

This was my absolute favorite movie when I was a little girl. Must check if it’s on Netflix.

Second favorite was “So Proudly We Hail”.
