I know that articles sometimes get posted multiple times, but this story has been posted way too many times for one night.

That's the breaks in such a forum as ours where a celeb is so popular with many of us. I did not make a separate post but rather am commenting only here. My first exposure to Leslie Nielson was the 1956 movie Forbidden Planet. Anne Francis was the eye candy and the symbol of innocence; the great Walter Pidgeon presided as the accomplished albeit hubritic Dr Morbius. Nielson's most memorable quotes from that flick are "This is the Captain speaking" and "That is all."

I know. My rant is over.

I don't know anyone who didn't like Leslie Nielsen. The man was a gem of the comedy genre, and will be missed.
