The introduction of so-called porno scanners at Americas airports and the egregious pat downs of airline travelers have turned every American into a German Jew. Instead of dehumanizing and demeaning one segment of the population in order to pave the way for the Holocaust, all airline travelers are being treated like German Jews by our government for our own good to keep us safe from terrorists on airplanes.
The TSA now considers every American a potential enemy of the state, because any one of us may be carrying a bomb aboard an airplane, despite the fact that young men from the Middle East perpetrated the 9/11 attacks.
Hold on, say TSA officials and their lackeys in Congress and in the media, Our federal government is not out to harm us let alone kill us like the Nazis did to the Jews; our government needs to conduct aggressive measures to protect us on all commercial flights from potential terrorists. That is the party line.
I can understand objections to those who point to Nazi Germany and warn that this is what current day America is about. But I disagree with this objection.
The ultimate horrors in Nazi Germany were, indeed, much more terrible than anything close to what has occurred so far in America. But one should do more than only consider just the ultimate horrors of what went on in Nazi Germany. One must think about the road that was traveled by the Germans to get to that point.
I believe one of the most serious misunderstandings about totalitarianism is that it arrives as a full package that requires no assembly. That it is put on the people, like a winter coat. All at one time, and in full view for all to see.
This is a grave misunderstanding.
I often wondered why more Jews didnt flee Nazi Germany. The answer did not come to me until I saw Roman Polanskis important movie, The Pianist.
In the movie, Polanski demonstrates how many Jews were simply one step behind. When Nazi Germany limited how much money a Jew could have, instead of leaving the country, many Jews debated where they should hide their money. When Jews were required to move to certain parts of the city, many Jews simply focused on how to find the best place to live, instead of leaving the country. And then, of course, eventually it was too late to leave the country.
Would some Jews, perhaps a few, have listened and benefited from early warnings of fringe voices about dangers? I think so. Would it have made sense to object to the Nazi limit on how much money a Jew could hold, and thus put at least a speed bump in the way of the Nazis? I think so.
No, they havent pulled up the trains in America, yet. But, when the trains do pull up, it is too late.
Its clear what totalitarianism looks like and when I see it in America, I am going to object loud and clear. Whether it is groping TSA agents, or spying SEC agents. For it is those first steps where the battle needs to be won. Dehumanization in Germany, as Murray Sabrin points out, came step-by-step.
Dehumanization, whether it is groping or limiting how much money an ethnic group can hold, is still dehumanization. Its the same road. We all know where that road led to in Nazi Germany. Maybe we can learn from history and stop the US from heading any further down that road.
Do my cries of warning put me on the fringe? Yes, they do. But it is a fringe group that I am proud to stand with.

Hitler, FDR and Obama promised change.
All were dictators all trampled civil right. All were promoters of class warfare.
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
You might actually have something there!
Excuse me, but I also abhor the constant “Nazi” comparisons in society today. However, there is definitely an uneasy feeling that brings me around to what was done to my great-grandparents.
In order to use the airport, and air travel, we must “stand naked” in front of whom, we know not, someone behind a wall. Yes, probably a man, an overseer, is staring at my feminine naked body on the scans, as well as looking at men, and naked children. It’s inhuman to do this to the general public. It is beneath us as Americans, wishing to travel in freedom.
And then the body pat-downs. To be patted down in our private areas, man, woman, and child, by someone with a badge who is just following orders does give me creeps.
I am afraid this comparison stands, for this situation. Tyranny starts right here, sir.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

A common denominator for dictatorships and tyranny is a lack of virtue, which is only given from God.

DHS & TSA: Making a list, checking it twice
By Doug Hagmann Tuesday, November 23, 2010
Following the publication of my article titled “Gate Rape of America,” I was contacted by a source within the DHS who is troubled by the terminology and content of an internal memo reportedly issued yesterday at the hand of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano. Indeed, both the terminology and content contained in the document are troubling. The dissemination of the document itself is restricted by virtue of its classification, which prohibits any manner of public release. While the document cannot be posted or published, the more salient points are revealed here.
The memo, which actually takes the form of an administrative directive, appears to be the product of undated but recent high level meetings between Napolitano, John Pistole, head of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA),and one or more of Obama’s national security advisors. This document officially addresses those who are opposed to, or engaged in the disruption of the implementation of the enhanced airport screening procedures as “domestic extremists.”
The introductory paragraph of the multi-page document states that it is issued “in response to the growing public backlash against enhanced TSA security screening procedures and the agents conducting the screening process.” Implicit within the same section is that the recently enhanced security screening procedures implemented at U.S. airports, and the measures to be taken in response to the negative public backlash as detailed [in this directive], have the full support of the President. In other words, Obama not only endorses the enhanced security screening, but the measures outlined in this directive to be taken in response to public objections.
The terminology contained within the reported memo is indeed troubling. It labels any person who “interferes” with TSA airport security screening procedure protocol and operations by actively objecting to the established screening process, “including but not limited to the anticipated national opt-out day” as a “domestic extremist.” The label is then broadened to include “any person, group or alternative media source” that actively objects to, causes others to object to, supports and/or elicits support for anyone who engages in such travel disruptions at U.S. airports in response to the enhanced security procedures.
For individuals who engaged in such activity at screening points, it instructs TSA operations to obtain the identities of those individuals and other applicable information and submit the same electronically to the Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division, the Extremism and Radicalization branch of the Office of Intelligence & Analysis (IA) division of the Department of Homeland Security.
For “any person, group or domestic alternative media source” that actively objects to, causes others to object to, supports and/or elicits support for anyone who engages in such travel “disruptions” at U.S. airports (as defined above) in response to the enhanced security procedures, the [applicable DHS administrative branch] is instructed to identify and collect information about the persons or entities, and submit such information in the manner outlined [within this directive].
It would appear that the Department of Homeland Security is not only prepared to enforce the enhanced security procedures at airports, but is involved in gathering intelligence about those who don’t. They’re making a list and most certainly will be checking it twice. Meanwhile, legitimate threats to our air travel security (and they DO exist) seem to be taking a back seat to the larger threat of the multitude of non-criminal American citizens who object to having their Constitutional rights violated.
As I have written before, it has nothing to do with security and everything to do with control.

I remember a movie from the early 1950’s entitled “Viva Zapata.” It was a fairly decent dramatization of the part Emiliano Zapata played in the Mexican revolution. In the opening scenes, Zapata and a few others had been granted an audience with the President to ask for relief from a local bureaucrat. Zapata wasn’t interested in listening to El Presidente tell them how difficult it would be to actually do something, so he talked back to the President. Angered at such impudence, El Presidente shouted at an aide to get the name of his tormentor so they could put him on a list.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I read of a similar incident where the camp inmate (trustee seems far too inappropriate) was thrown into the burning ovens alive.
Because everything the Nazi's did was LAWFUL for the most part.
- They were voted and/or appointed into office.
- Their bureaucracies made rules and regulations to enforce those laws.
- Their police forces were militarized and expanded to implement the rules.
It's 1934 - do you know what the rules are?
I don’t like it when people go overboard with the Hitler comparisons either and I agree that we’re not at that stage yet. However, we are approaching some form of fascism if current trends continue.
Fascism- coined by Benito Mussolini from the Italian “fasci”, a 20th century ideology that emphasizes the absolute subservience of the individual to the state, a preference for collective identity over individual identity, a denial of the concept of individual rights, based on the *personality cult of a charismatic leader*. Though many fascists aspired to totalitarianism, defined as the politicalization of every aspect of life and the abolition of private civil society, *often accompanied by the omnipresent image of The Leader*, only Hitler succeeded. A summary of what I learned about fascism in Modern Political Ideologies sophomore year of college, emphasis mine.

Lord Cutler Beckett “Right to habeas corpus, suspended”- POTC III
Lord Voldemort “After tonight no one will ever doubt my power again”- HP 4
Grindelwald “For the Greater Good”- Grindelwald’s motto, HP 7.
Personally Lord Beckett’s my favorite as I can totally see the One dithering as all Hades breaks loose around him and his tyrannical rule is abruptly by a rebellion. Maybe that’s just my fantasy.

Apologies to all the gentlemen listed above for comparing them to Oblunder. Competent evil seldom likes being compared with incompetent evil.
Comparing what is going on with airline travel is, I agree, a bit much to what actually was happening with Jews on trains, in death camps and other trgic events. However, I don’t think it is much overstretch to say that the blue shirted hirimgs of TSA ,from whereever they came, can be compared to the brownshirts of Germany,we know these were not necessarily the best of German citizens. It has been common practice in revolutionary practices to set up official, I would call, ‘goon’ squads. Not being an air traveler these days I can only go on reports and visual reports that show some of the blue shirts are behaving like brown shirt goons.
