You were on a roll and I agree with most of what you said, but I don't think this is true. We're not back in the 60s with regard to racial prejudice because of Obama.
You don't see Blacks in a more inferior way today. I know I don't. I see one half/Black somewhat more negative than I did two years ago, but he has actually done us a very big favor of sorts. I do find it sad that the first person assumed to be our 'Black' president was of this caliber. It's a real black eye to our African American community, a community that has plenty of people who could have been a very good president. I had hoped that a man like J. C. Watts would be the first.
Also, I truly believe that because this administration screams "RACIST!" at everyone who disagrees with their policies, they have aggravated and worsened racial reconciliation.
Of course the laws passed will not be undone, and legal equality will remain, but this 'President' has made a lot of people angry who were not angry before, and in that sense, I believe he has set race relations back decades.
I do, however, believe that strong conservatives like Allen West will help fix the mess that half-black Obama has made.
