Speaking of the 'elite', John Cornyn of Texas still doesn't get it: he gave a speech attacking DeMint and the Tea Party as basically interfering with his expert pulling of the levers of party machinery to get Republicans elected.

I think Michael Steele needs to replaced in a heartbeat with somebody who is going to keep the heat on these pompous butt-heads to do a lot more listening and a much less pontificating. (BTW, Cornyn's message was almost identical to Murkowski's appeal for the write-in campaign: don't elect these newbies; we know what we are doing; come to us to air your complaints, we'll decide if your complaint has merit; only the current club knows how to git 'er done).

Otherwise, the GOP will be a footnote in history books, left behind as were the Whigs...;-))

And I think that is the message JimRob is trying to communicate to the elite. They just don't get it. We all know that some have registered here and do campaigning here because if FR gets behind a candidate, that is a BIG HUGE endorsement. We are the premier political site. ELITE, ARE YOU LISTENING?
