The wife and I have been watching DWTS to see how Bristol did, and to see what controversy - like this one - that the liberals would start.

Her dance partner (can't remember his name) has been totally supportive to Bristol...most of the others have been, well, arms-length-tolerant...so far.

The Judges? Well, they've been mostly gah-gah, over-the-top, for the black dancers for fear of "offending", and tiptoeing around the rim of insult toward Bristol. There is no doubt in my mind that they are all libs and their contempt for the name "Palin" shines through their facade of cheshire cat grins.

But - to be fair - Bristol is not the best dancer on the show, but she has the best attitude by far. And the courage she shows by just going on the show after the media dragging her through the turnip patch for over a year, is amazing.

I was thinking for a while - especially after the other night - that the classy thing to do would be to recuse herself from the remainder of the competition. However, since this "powder" incident I say hell no, go for it. I'll be voting for her next week just to piss off the liberals and snotty Jennifer Gray.

Go Bristol...

Mike “The Situation” was on Leno the other night. (He was on DWTS but was booted early on). Jay ashed him who he thought was going to win and he said he was rooting for Bristol.

I have never watched DWTS but I have been known to you tube some of the dancers....Yesterday, I you tubed Bristol......No, she is not the best dancer but far better than me or any of her critics.....

Bristol comes across as a real sweet honest young lady. I love that her dance partner came to Alaska, they seem like good friends and Bristol has more maturity than many her age.....

For the first time in my life I will be voting and my vote will be for Bristol simply because I really like the girl......

The show is not now and never was "just" about the best dancer. It is also about who people want to see advance for whatever reason. Some people just like to root for the underdog. Some will vote based on who has improved the most, or who has the best attitude! Both Jennifer and Brandy have lots of entertainment and dance experience (Jennifer's father is a famous dancer/choreographer). Brandy has wanted it too much - always talking about how badly she wants to win the trophy. Jennifer, as good as she is, plays up the "poor me" thing about her injuries too much. I think attitude can play against them sometimes. And Maks with his "tude" towards the judges hasn't helped. Bristol has been a trooper and had a positive attitude from day one. She is also one of the most improved dancers for a total amateur in the show's history.

The producer of DWTS puts the Bristol "controversy" in proper perspective
