Interestingly, on NPR yesterday morning they were discussing the film’s opening with a man who’s started an organization devoted to getting Harry fans to vote Progressive...because he sees that as Harry’s fight against the evil oppressive ruling class/business/rich people. Lots of meetings, all tied to the Potter books and films, get out the vote, demonstrate...it’s like a bad virus, and the kids they’re after never had to pay a bill in their life, let alone pay taxes and keep a roof over a family’s head. There’s no end to Liberal dishonesty and evil, and they’ll say with a perfectly straight face that the end justifies the means. So there. Meanwhile Oprah’s about to buy a $68 mill. mansion in NJ. It’s her money, of course, and doubtless she already gives millions to worthy causes, but I’d love to think she’s working on inner city schools, for instance.
I was sorely tempted to go to the midnight showing but reason prevailed.
,, I should be speaking with Tom Williams (CEO PARAMOUNT/Universal) ,, wish me luck.. this would be ideal for a Potter themed land.. can't you just see the 3rd floor being a roller coaster loading/unloading terminal with the coaster running through the center of the building... I sure can! otherwise it will become a "landmark" restaurant in Japan or will be sold for the materials...Maybe in Part 2 the Expendables will come and double tap the bespectacled gay Satanist to the head. I’d pay to see that.
