Abraham H. Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League called Beck's comments inaccurate, "completely inappropriate, offensive and over the top." He added, "To hold a young boy responsible for what was going on around him during the Holocaust as part of a larger effort to denigrate the man is repugnant." Searching for any quote by Abe Foxman condemning people who tried to shame Pope Benedict XVI for being a Hitler youth. The pope had been conscripted into it, but that didn't stop people from trying to infer that he was a participant in the Holocaust. As for Beck, I don't think he is anti-semitic, but I do think he sometimes makes over the top statements for effect.

Neither Abe Foxman nor the anti-defamation league owns copyright on the Holocaust. Communists, Catholics and Christians in general, homosexuals, gypsies, mental and physical defectors, were all, to relatively greater or lesser extent than the Jews, systematically murdered. Since he does not own the legacy and does not have sole possession of the victimhood, he cannot grant pardons to George Soros or anyone else.

One can only ask what inducements George Soros presented to Foxman to cause this Holocaust survivor to make such an asinine statement. Was it fear or money?

Glenn Beck has demonstrated clearly that Soros has set out to destroy Beck and Beck has made it clear that he is out to frustrate Soros' ambitions. It's war to the finish. Of the two, Soros is more devious, more powerful, more unscrupulous, and historically evil.

I remember Michael Savage saying how the ADF is a useless organization. Says he wrote them a letter once and got a nasty reply back.

These accusations of Beck being anti-Semitic are particularly laughable coming from liberals who are constantly bashing the state of Israel and rambling about Zionism. It’s even more laughable when you consider that Soros is Jewish by birth only and not by religion or culture.

To be fair to ole Abe, the following sentence in the quote he does go on to say that he doesn’t believe Beck is anti-Semitic.

But, I don’t recall him offering the same defense of the pope.
