You could never do that in this country. The Unions would not let anyone work that hard or long. This would take at least 4 years in this country.

Years ago, my Mother -- very Liberal (marched against Vietnam, etc.) -- got fed up with a small bridge that was being rebuilt near our town. One day she erupted with: "It took us less time to win WWII than it's taking them to rebuild that stupid little bridge!!"

That was about 30 years ago. Things have not improved.
