DWTS is notorious for stunt casting. However, even from a technical point of view, I can’t see how this would work.
Who would lead? Would they have one partner wear male costuming and the other wear female (especially on the ballroom dances which are judged on traditional elements?) And, as someone has mentioned, with two females, aren’t they at a disadvantage with the lifts?
Maybe they’ll do it, but I just don’t see it.

No she is not. Marriage requires one man and one woman. They are short a man. Therefore no marriage exists.

I have never see the show and now I will never see it. Just the thought of this dog and pony show being force fed across the television makes me puke. Hey if they want to dance great just do it when there are no cameras. No they have to shove a living life style most of us do not want any part of down our throats just like the current administration shoves their policies - phooey on you.
Music will be by last years air guitar winner.
I have not seen any shows this season that did not have a homosexual episode or character. Mass brainwash trying to normalize this very damaging behavior.

Here’s what I don’t understand. NONE of the dancers on dancing with the stars are couples; they are just two people put together to dance.
Further, so far as I can tell, NONE of them have been asked what their private sexual preference is, nor would it matter in the least, since they are simply dancing with a partner, not having sex with them.
So, first, why would they need to have same-sex partners in the dance contest? And second, if they did, why would they need to hire a gay person for that dance partnership?
Don’t gay men do just fine in pairs figure skating dancing with women?
I’ve never watched—and maybe that’s what makes this news more surprising/revolting to me—but it never crossed my mind that they would do a same-sex couple thing. Aren’t the couples on the show just random opposite-sex friends or otherwise pairings—without the love-n-sex attraction factor? Must they sexualize EVERYTHING? And yes—this is sexualizing it—that’s the push. Why else? Otherwise Portia would go on the show paired with a man—just like every other female on the show has—just as the show’s formatted—without any overt love/attraction message. This is all about the continued in-your-face undermining of parents...on what I hear is considered one of the few family shows. Hurl.
