.223 FMJ 10000+ rounds
.308 5000+ rounds. I've been meaning to ask for a long time now.
What good are 10,000 rounds of anything if a few molotov cocktails and home made explosives can burn your house down in ten minutes?
Unless your house is bulletproof and fireproof.
10,000 rounds?
I don't think so. I certainly wouldn't want to arm the Obama voters.

I'm thinking the poster (least I HOPE the poster) is thinking cache's. Ingress, egress lines, un-rep sites (off the beaten path of course); perimeter lp/op sites around the main home and any secondary owned property's.
It's a good deal of ammo; but REAL hard to get mobile with in a hurry; as you say " I certainly wouldn't want to arm the Obama voters." ('cause of leaving ammo behind in a hurry??)

Who keeps ammo unprotected?
I keep my ammo in a fire resistant safe with desiccant.
But it is not about protection.
It is about the ability to hunt, and trade. The only thing that will be of value will be ammo. A few ounces of gold isn’t a valuable commodity in a crashed economy.
